Description

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Project Specialist to support ingredient quality and supplier change management activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring ingredient compliance, maintaining robust documentation, and driving cross functional alignment across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage quality assurance projects related to Nutrition Science.
Receive and manage supplier change notifications, including tracking status through completion.
Qualify ingredients in the supply chain to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Assess quality assurance protocols and procedures.
Conduct paperwork audits of suppliers and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, procurement, and production, to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Analyze data and generate reports on quality metrics and project progress.
Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Coordinate cross functional assessments of supplier changes to evaluate quality and compliance impact
Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders
Support implementation of downstream process changes related to approved supplier notifications.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to ensure traceability.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier change notification and quality processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition Science, Microbiology, or a related field
The ideal candidate brings a background in food science or related discipline
1–3 years of experience in a regulated food or nutrition industry
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for ingredient qualification.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supply chain management and ingredient sourcing.
