5. Role Summary

The Strategic QA Lead & Automation Architect will drive end-to-end quality engineering transformation across multi-domain enterprise platforms, including US Staffing, SaaS, Clinical Trials, Mortgage, and Healthcare systems.

This role is accountable for:

  • Establishing automation-first QA strategy
  • Embedding quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance (FDA, GxP, HIPAA-like environments)
  • Leading cross-functional QA initiatives across distributed teams

6. Detailed Job Description

6.1 Core Responsibilities

A. Strategic QA Leadership

  • Define and execute enterprise QA roadmap aligned with Agile & DevOps
  • Establish Shift-Left and Shift-Right testing strategies
  • Drive Zero-Defect Release Vision

B. Automation Architecture

  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks:
    • UI: Selenium, Katalon
    • API: Karate Labs, Postman
    • BDD: Gherkin
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

C. Multi-Domain Testing Expertise

  • Validate applications across:
    • US Recruiting & Staffing Platforms
    • Clinical Trial Systems (Statistical Data Validation – R/Python)
    • Healthcare Compliance Systems
    • Mortgage & Financial Applications

D. DevOps & CI/CD Integration

  • Build pipelines integrating:
    • Automated suites
    • Code quality gates
    • Deployment validation workflows
  • Collaborate with DevOps for continuous testing enablement

E. API & Data Validation

  • Perform advanced API validation using:
    • Karate DSL
    • Postman collections
  • Validate backend systems using:
    • SQL queries
    • Data reconciliation techniques

F. QA Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to:
    • Regulatory standards (Clinical & Healthcare)
    • Audit-ready documentation practices
  • Implement traceability using TestRail, JIRA, HP ALM, QTest

G. Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Lead QA teams across multiple geographies
  • Mentor engineers on:
    • Automation best practices
    • Agile QA methodologies
  • Drive continuous improvement culture

7. Required Qualifications

7.1 Experience

  • 8+ years in Software Quality Engineering
  • Proven experience as:
    • QA Lead / QA Manager / Senior QA Engineer

7.2 Domain Expertise

  • Mandatory exposure to:
    • US Staffing & Recruiting systems
    • SaaS platforms
    • Clinical Trials / Healthcare compliance systems
    • Mortgage / Financial systems
