Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning: Develop and execute Test plans, Test cases, and Test scripts based on software requirements and design specifications.
• Bug Identification: Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing detailed feedback to developers for resolution.
• Testing Execution: Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing, to ensure software meets specified requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand software functionality and customer requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, issues found, and recommendations for improvements to enhance software quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends to improve testing processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is often preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in software testing or quality assurance is advantageous, with familiarity in both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Familiarity with testing tools and programming languages can be beneficial.

Work Environment

• Software testers typically work in an office setting, with options for remote work. Some positions may require travel for team meetings or client consultations.
