Corporate Business Analyst II

This role will be 100% on-site 1910 West Market St - Building 5 Akron OH 44313 40 hours a week. Looking for someone with 3 - 6 years of experience Department Overview: The Asset Information department is responsible for managing all business-related data associated with FirstEnergy’s substation assets. This role supports the development and enforcement of data standards, performs data analytics, monitors data quality, and manages the daily operations of the asset lifecycle within data systems. Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to safety in all work activities. • Maintain and apply asset data standards across FirstEnergy systems. • Support reporting initiatives. • Analyze and recommend process improvements to align data across multiple FirstEnergy software platforms. • Ensure the integrity of substation equipment data across various databases • Perform data entry and monitor data quality, particularly for attributes collected prior to energization. • Coordinate with Commissioning Engineers and On-Site Coordinators. • Verify equipment removals and determine disposition and destination. • Update data systems with accurate and complete information. • Utilize Power BI dashboards to monitor and report on data quality. • Process data report queries to extract and analyze system data. • Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and data accuracy. • Foster open, honest, and collaborative communication within the team.
