Hiring Manager Notes
- Required: Background in a trade, construction, or hands-on technical field.
- Experience with contractors and jobsite workflows highly valued.
- Operate a Ford/Ram truck (no towing). MVR check only (no DOT physical).
Role Overview
Support local sales efforts while developing outside sales skills. Engage customers, coordinate technical needs with the warehouse team, and build product knowledge (e.g., dewatering/Goodwin Flight pumps) to progress into a full-time outside sales role.
What You’ll Do
- Visit customer sites with sales reps (light local travel).
- Handle inbound calls; answer product questions.
- Coordinate with technicians to verify parts and service needs on the warehouse floor.
- Manage customer service tasks in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Participate in outside sales training; learn key product terminology (e.g., Goodwin Flight Pumps).
- Prepare for field travel: maintain valid MVR; follow safety protocols and wear PPE including safety boots.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year Salesforce experience (required).
- Strong communication and phone-based customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Background in trade/construction/hands-on technical field (required).
- Comfortable in warehouse/shop environments.
- Plus: knowledge of site plans, construction management, dewatering pumps.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Safety boots required (PPE provided as needed).
