Designer (Technical Illustrator) - A

Description

This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Creates graphs, charts, schematics and two and three dimensional drawings for use in technical reports for technical documents and presentations. Knowledge of of standard concepts, practices, and procedures with a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish projects. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision and direction. Proficient computer skills including (MS word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint). 1-3 yrs. Exp. This role will work on the EE Services team, and have a primary focus on ECAD schematic capture and layout, with secondary focuses on documentation release, lab support work, and test execution. They will be trained on our WindChill documentation system. An ideal candidate would be skilled in using Altium software, and have experience working with engineers in interpreting requirements and translating them into PCBA designs. Tasks may change often as this is a service role, supporting the greater R&D organization.
