Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Analyst to evaluate, design, and enhance software systems. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to understand user requirements, assess system capabilities, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business and technical requirements for new or existing software systems.

  • Translate business needs into detailed software requirements documentation (SRS, BRD, use cases, etc.).

  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders during the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for new features and system changes.

  • Support system design by working closely with solution architects and developers.

  • Assist in creating test cases and participate in system testing and validation processes.

  • Monitor software performance and recommend optimizations or upgrades.

  • Provide support and training to end users and technical teams on new applications or features.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience as a Software Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, and modeling tools like UML, BPMN.

  • Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and software architecture principles.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL or querying tools.

  • Understanding of QA/testing practices and tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).

  • Knowledge of project management tools and Agile frameworks.

  • Certifications such as CBAP, ECBA, or similar.
