Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lab Analyst to perform routine and non-routine laboratory analyses to support research, production, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests, interpreting data, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical, physical, or biological analyses of samples using laboratory techniques and instruments.

  • Prepare samples, reagents, and standards for testing.

  • Record, analyze, and interpret data accurately; report results clearly.

  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.

  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EPA, ISO).

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all tests conducted.

  • Participate in method development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.

  • Support quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting (internships or co-ops may count).

  • Proficiency with laboratory instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, spectrophotometers, pH meters).

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) is a plus.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a regulated lab environment (GMP/GLP).

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of safety and chemical handling protocols.


Work Environment:

  • Laboratory setting with potential exposure to chemicals, fumes, and other hazardous materials.

  • May require wearing PPE (lab coat, gloves, goggles).
