9 am to 5 pm EST Remote, must be in EST time zone Likely to convert to FT We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in managing tariff-related tasks. This role plays a vital part in processing credits, resolving disputes, preparing quotes, and handling general clerical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a focus on accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a task-driven, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Process tariff-related credits accurately and in a timely manner Assist in resolving disputes related to tariffs by coordinating with internal teams and customers Prepare and assist with tariff-related quoting activities Perform general clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, document filing, and report generation Maintain organized records of all tariff transactions and communications Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to ensure consistent and clear communication Ensure compliance with internal procedures and documentation standards Qualifications: Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role (experience with tariffs or finance is a plus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with ERP or quoting systems is a plus Ideal Candidate Will Be: A proactive problem-solver with a focus on follow-through Comfortable working independently and managing priorities Flexible and adaptable to shifting tasks and deadlines Collaborative and professional when interacting with team members across departments
