Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service & Tariff Coordinator to join our customer service team. This role is critical in supporting tariff recovery measures and ensuring accurate communication and coordination related to equipment imports. The ideal candidate will have a background in project coordination, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and support tariff recovery measures for imported equipment. Communicate tariff charges proactively to customers in a clear and professional manner. Work cross-functionally to ensure tariffs are correctly added to quotes and credits. Maintain accurate records and track all tariff-related charges in the system. Handle disputes related to tariffs, including customer communication and resolution coordination. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of tariffs in line with company policies. Utilize ERP systems for data entry and tracking; ERP experience is a plus. Assist in project coordination efforts as they relate to customer service and tariff initiatives. Qualifications: Proven experience in project coordination or customer service, ideally in a logistics, manufacturing, or import/export environment. Experience or familiarity with tariff charges, customs duties, or equipment import processes is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss financial or technical topics confidently with customers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive situations such as billing disputes with professionalism. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is a strong plus. Self-starter with a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach. Preferred Skills: Background in import/export operations or logistics Knowledge of international trade compliance Prior experience with tariff application or recovery programs
