Summary
:

  • In this role, you will support our business strategies by implementing innovative engineered systems, building a world class lean enterprise, and developing, coordinating, organizing, and implementing sustainable manufacturing production processes.
  • You will work with a diverse cross functional team focused on sustaining manufacturing operations and includes new product launches and continuous improvement activities to deliver quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for, and as an integral part of, all new product introductions and product enhancement programs, using advanced engineering techniques such as DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet all project deliverables through a stage-gate process.
  • Guide team members to achieve safety, quality, and delivery targets of the business.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer for new design development.
  • Develop clear work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause / effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning Serve as a resource for cause / effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
